JA Girls' Dream Fair: A STEM Experience
Event Completed!
When: Wednesday, March 05, 2025
Where: Haworth College of Business - Western Michigan University
Time: 8:30 AM ET
JA introduces 7th and 8th grade students to female mentors who work in STEM-related fields to show them the exciting possibilities for their future. After a TED-style talk from inspirational STEM women, mentors use the JA It's My Future curriculum to encourage students to ask questions about their own futures and urge them to consider a career in STEM.
At this crucial time in their decisions about their future, they will have the chance to hear from local female professionals talk about their education and career path in STEM, including:
- Monica Metty, PMP, Senior Program Manager, New Product Development, Eaton Cummins Automated Transmission Technologies
- Crystal Sattler, Senior Director of API Operations, Pfizer
- Sydney Davis, Founder, NixCode
